As 2025 closes, Palmers Green has seen a year of inspiring community activity,  and new local businesses. From lively markets and creative events to vibrant new shops and eateries, here’s a look back at some of the highlights of the year.

After two years of creative activity in Palmers Green, Arbeit Studios has now completed its Enfield programme. Their work — supported by Enfield Council and the Palmers Green Action Team — brought new energy to the high street, delivered artist residencies, workshops, and markets, and helped establish Devonshire Square as a thriving community hub.

We are sorry to update you all that the cinema project with Arthouse has fallen through. There were many different parts of the plan that had to come together and in the challenging business environment, despite the valiant efforts of Arthouse, that has not been possible. We’re very sad to come so close and know how much the community wanted this to happen.
