BIG VOLUNTEER MEET-UP

Palmers Green Action Team (PGAT) is inviting volunteers, local residents, businesses and supporters to a Big Volunteer Meet-Up on Wednesday 18 March at 7pm at The Fox pub.

The evening will be a chance for anyone interested in improving Palmers Green to hear about the projects currently underway, meet other volunteers and find out how they can get involved.

Over the past year PGAT volunteers have been working on a range of initiatives to improve the high street and surrounding area. At the meet-up we’ll be sharing updates on several of our priority projects, including:

  • Greening Palmers Green – plans to continue with more planting and greenery into the area

  • Street Art – creating vibrant new artworks and murals across the high street

  • The Shopfront Project – improving the look and feel of local businesses

  • Trader Target – attracting new, high-quality businesses to Palmers Green

  • The markets - and other activities in Devonshire Square

Each of these projects has opportunities for volunteers to play a part, and we’ll be sharing ideas, next steps and practical ways people can get involved.

Whether you have a lot of time to offer or just a little, there are many different ways to contribute. You don’t need to be an expert or make a big commitment — every small action adds up and helps create positive change for our high street.

The event will also feature the premiere of our short film about bringing a cinema back to Palmers Green, along with an update on the campaign and our strategy to make it happen.

If you’ve been curious about PGAT, have ideas for the area, or simply want to meet others who care about the future of Palmers Green, this is the perfect opportunity to come along.

Join us at The Fox on Wednesday 18 March at 7pm and be part of the conversation about the future of our high street.
